Sports and Culture

IPRC Musanze promotes sports and culture to ensure students physical fitness, good health and cultural values. Through the Directorate of Students Affairs students are support in different activities regarding sports and culture.

 

Sports Activities

The Directorate of Students’ affairs organizes different games for the purposes of physical fitness and unity and friendship among students in and out of the Campus: Students participate in different competitions and friendly matches.

Various sports disciplines are practiced on daily basis by staff and/or students depending on their availability from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. In addition, all staff members attend the regular sport of Friday (reserved for public servants) from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

In order to build a strong unity, solidarity and friendship amongst all students, students participate in a mass sport which is organized once a month.

Mainly in sport, students channel themselves in different disciplines:

Handball

Jogging

 

·        Cultural activities

IPRC Musanze helps students promote good values and norms for their good citizenship: At IPRC Musanze, students have a traditional dance troupe, modern music clubs and religious communities & gospel choirs.

Apart from gospel-based concert that promote religious beliefs, students organise some events that expose the Rwandan culture among others there are traditional and modern shows & cultural-based practical activities.
